The number you see is the number you pay.
Artists set their own prices. TAAL adds one clearly labelled platform fee, and GST is shown on its own line. Here's every rate, live from our current settings.

For hosts
Every rupee, itemised.
- Artist fee — the package price the artist sets, for a stated duration and number of performers.
- Extra time — billed in 30-minute steps at the artist's published extra-hour rate.
- Travel & accommodation — a separate line, only when your event is outside the artist's home city.
- Sound & lighting production — a separate, optional line when the artist offers it and your venue needs it.
- Platform fee (5%) — pays for verified profiles, secure payments, support and the booking guarantee.
- GST (18%) — applied to the taxable amount and shown on your receipt.
Pay 30% to confirm (rounded up to the nearest ₹100). The balance is due 7 days before the event. Cancellation refunds follow our published policy.

A 4-hour wedding set, outstation, with production

For artists
Free to list. Pay when you play.
- No listing or subscription fee at launch. Build your profile, packages and calendar at no cost.
- 12% commission on the artist-side amount (fee, extra time, travel and production) of each booking. The host's platform fee is separate and never comes out of your earnings.
- Payouts go to your verified bank account within 3 business days after the performance is marked completed — once the 48-hour issue window has closed.
- Late cancellations by hosts — you keep your share of the non-refundable deposit as compensation for the held date.

About promoted placements
Artists may pay for extra visibility in search and on category pages. When they do, their card is always labelled “Promoted”. Promotion never changes an artist's rating, reviews, verification status or availability — and “Editor's picks” are never for sale.
